How about testing your body language today?

Non-verbal communication is a universal language, but it's often underestimated by leaders. Here's a simple exercise I suggest to my clients to become more aware of their non-verbal impact:
1️⃣ Observe yourself:
- The next time you speak in a meeting, film yourself or ask for feedback.
- Analyze your gestures, posture and tone of voice. What are they really communicating?
2️⃣ Try it out:
- Try adopting a more open posture or maintaining longer eye contact during your next interaction.
- Note the reactions: does the other person seem more at ease, more attentive?
3️⃣ Practice regularly:
- Like any skill, non-verbal communication improves with practice.
- Identify one point to work on each week (for example: smile more often or avoid crossed arms).
Leadership starts with self-awareness. And by improving your body language, you become not only a better communicator, but also a more influential leader.
